He breathed in the stale air that occupied the infinite space within his void of isolation. With his lungs full of oxygen as he stood in the center of the white and gray tiled nothingness, he proudly proclaimed his current dream with a shout. After what felt like an eternity of sleeping, he felt then need to at least try to keep his spirits up even if his dreams have decayed in his time in the stone.

“YEAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!! I’M GOING TO GET OUT OF THIS STONE! AND I WILL GO SEE THE WORLD AGAIN!!! AND SEE WHITE!!! WHI-Cough!! Cough cough…. Ach….agh….”

Black nearly lost his voice from that moment when he realized he has not been proudly proclaiming his dream to the sky since the last time saw the blue sky. His rubbed his neck as he sat back down on the floor of the Light Stone’s void. The pain eased and he was able to speak again to himself.

“Sigh…. I wonder how she’s doing…. She… Cheren… and Bianca……. I wish I knew how my own Pokémon are doing.”

The blue jacketed boy swung his shoulder bag in front of him on the floor and pulled out a handful of Poke Balls that once held his Pokémon. He peered into them with disappointment in how much he misses his friends.

“Where could they have gone? Brav? Tula? Boar? Costa? Not even Musha’s here….”

Black slipped the Poke Balls back into his bag before he suddenly realized the state of his sixth Pokémon. The boy shook his head in confusion over the matter.

“What happened to Reshiram? If I’m here in the Light Stone he should be here with me right? Everyone should have stayed together… why?!... Where did everyone go?!”

He turned his head to take a glimpse of the far endless horizons.  Everywhere he looked, there was nothingness. Completely void of life besides himself, he felt his sanity slowly begin to decay again. He jumped up and shouted angrily at the white blank sky

“RRAAAGHHH!!!!! IT’S NOT FAIR!!! WHY?!!!! WHY?!!!! WHERE IS EVERYBODY?!!! LET US OUT PLEASE!!!.....”

Black quickly regained himself as soon as he felt his throat begin to pain. He calmed down from his short outburst of impatient insanity. He slowly sat back down with his hands covering his face. He rubbed his eyes and forehead with the tips of his fingers. He breathed in deeply and exhaled once more to calm himself.

“…. Alright alright…. I have an idea…. Let’s review on what we know about life here in the Light Stone…”

He crossed his legs as he kept his right elbow on his right leg and placed his head on his hand as he thought deeply. The blue jacketed boy stared into the horizons as he thought outside of the box.

“…. The Light Stone is…. What Reshiram has been sealed in for…. The longest time…. Reshiram was part of a greater legendary dragon Pokémon….. Reshiram has been in here for…. The longest time… and he was alone…. Alone….”

Black shut his eyes as he concentrated in his innovative thoughts. Without having Musha to eat his dreams like he used to for observation, he realized he didn’t need him anymore as he knew his dreams have lost its brilliant shine on him in time.

“Alone…. Is how Reshiram was… in the stone…. Was he THE Light Stone?... or was he just IN the Light Stone?.... is everything around me in here Reshiram? Everything’s white…. Is the Light Stone itself Reshiram? Wait if that were the case that means I’m part of the Light Stone too since I’m in here…. And my Pokémon too… wait no I’m IN the Light Stone… I’m not part of it… I think…”

Black shook his head as he tried to make more sense of the question. He gave up on the question and instead reflected on his observation.

“All I see is white in here…. I really miss looking at the flowers and the colors of the world… Unova was so beautiful now that I think about it…. Maybe this is how Reshiram felt… he is just a Pokemon like Boar and Tula after all…. Wait a minute…”

The boy suddenly had a horrifying thought appear in his mind. The thought almost killed his heart as it was too much to bear. His eyes were wide open as he gave himself a very possible answer to his question.

“What if…. Boar… Brav… and all the others…. Are alone in their own voids just like me?”

At this point, Black was on the brink of bursting into tears at the thought of having his beloved Pokémon left all alone in their own voids. This abomination of a conclusion brought another question that aided him from having an emotional outburst.

“I-If that’s s-so… then…. If we were released… we would all be released at the same time right?... h-heh…”

Imagining their reunion, Black drew a little smile at the little scenario he just dreamed.

“… Hopefully it would be worth the wait….. I hope White is alright….”

Black took his ball cap off and placed it beside himself as he began to think again. His emotions still troubled him to an extent as he pondered.

“What does…. The Light Stone need to unseal Reshiram?…. The Light Stone needed a hero… who followed his… Truths?... and… I… happened to be that hero…. But now that I’m in here…. Will we have to wait another eternity to be released again?.... Another hero of Truths….ugh… sniff…”

The boy fell back and stared into the white sky and began to daze again. He felt the cold air occupy his lungs as he breathed in the nothingness. It felt a little unorthodox at how cold the oxygen happened to be, but he thought nothing of it as he continued to ask himself questions as he slowly fell into unconsciousness again.

“I wonder who could possibly replace me…. As the hero….”

After another millennia of sound sleeping within the Light Stone’s void, he awoke to a sudden shake of the ground. He sat up quickly and surveyed his surroundings in an instant. Nothing was amiss.

“…Odd….”, he said before he slowly laid back down to sleep.

Before he could return to his slumber,  his ears were shot with a sudden roar of a familiar Pokémon echo throughout the nothingness.  The sound made him jump as his heart suddenly rushed with adrenaline.

“Huh?! What was that?.... why is it so cold?! Wow is it cold in here!”, Black exclaimed as he sat in a fetal position to defend against the sudden cold.

He put his cap back on his head and held his bag in front of his chest to conserve heat. He shivered with his head and arms shaking over his bag as he kept in his fetal position. As he tried to keep warm, he heard another ferocious bellowing echo through the nothingness. Black recognized the sound this time.

“… Reshiram?! Reshiram are you there?!! Where are you?!!”

Black stood back up and looked at the far horizons of the nothingness again. The boy nearly had his heart jump out of his chest as he could see a strange black wall of darkness closing in on him from afar. His visibility dimmed as he stared at it.

“What… what is that?!... what’s happening?!”

Black stepped backward in amazement at how fast his environment was changing. The white nothingness started to dim as he felt very uneasy in his situation.

“Is… is… Is Reshiram being released? Are we getting out?.... Is this it?...”

Keeping his distance away from the new dark void that is eating away the Light Stone’s nothingness at an incredible pace, he quickly thought about what he should be doing at this very moment.

“The Light Stone is…. What contains Reshiram…. If anything were to happen to the Light Stone… it would mean freedom for Reshiram… I presume… a new hero has taken the Light Stone?”

He hesitated. The boy conflicted with himself as he kept his hands over his temples. He didn’t know whether or not to panic or to embrace what was happening because the situation is too unknown for him to deduce what is happening.

“….. I need… to take a leap of faith…”

A third and final roar echoed throughout the dwindling nothingness before he started running towards the wall. He ran with belief in his salvation from what he thought would be his final resting place. As he ran, his vision dimmed as the darkness had arrived.

“LET US OUT!!!”, he shouted as he charged off of the white tiled floor of the Light Stone’s nothingness into the new blinding darkness.

As soon as he made it through, he froze and felt a sheer cold freeze him to the point of numbness in his limbs. He shouted in pain from the extreme shift of temperature. He looked down at his feet as he could see what is happening to his body.

“AAH?!!”

His feet started glowing purple through his shoes. Much to his terror, the glow started spreading up into his legs and on to his torso. He felt every being of his body suddenly slowly cease to exist starting from the tip of his toes.

“I… I can’t… move….”

He looked at his legs slowly disappear as he felt the lower portion of his body erase from existence. His chest and arms soon followed as he tried to stay from blacking out. As his body disappeared, he grew weary an weak.  No matter how hard he tried to struggle, he could not move his slowly disappearing body.

“Help… me….. someone?...”

No response came from the oblivion.

“I guess…. This is it… it’s over…”, Black said as he soon accepted his impending fate.

His arms and body fizzled out of existence as his head followed. The last thing that was on his mind before it had come to a close was his beloved best friend who traveled with him in his great journey across Unova. His status as her employee was still held in his mind for he will always appreciate what White had done for him during his struggles. Thinking about her for one last time, he smiled because he was fortunate enough to have met her during that commercial shoot in Accumula Town

“Thank… you…”

Deep within Kyurem’s den in the Giant Chasm,

Rakutsu stood watching the husk of the original legendary dragon merge with the Vast White dragon type Pokemon contained within the Light Stone. His Samurott was ready for a difficult fight with his paw at the handle of his seamitar sheathed in its shell. Behind the superintendent of the International Police was Faitsu on the ground, partially encrusted with freezing ice on her clothes. The boy stood between her and the enslaved fusing Pokémon to keep her from enduring any more harm in this final confrontation.

The evil leader of the new Team Plasma stood smirking with his complex cane in his right hand. Watching the downfall of the world transform right in front of him was a moment he had dreamed of for two years. He began to laugh as Kyurem had finished its transformation.

At the mouth of the chamber of the cave was the president of the BW Agency in her casual clothing. She stood speechless at what had happened to the Light Stone. Watching it disappear and absorbed into Kyurem’s body in a flurry of ferocious flames dimmed her hope of rescuing somebody she used to know.

“Black….”, she said as she witnessed the fusion of Reshiram and Kyurem breathe deeply before it roared with all it’s might.

Ghetsis turned to face the heroes who rose to stop him. He proclaimed with a smile.

“The Absofusion is Complete.”

I haven't had a chance to read the manga, can someone please explain what Black is doing in the White Stone, and how he got there in the first place? (Assuming that it happened in the manga)
